A good brush.
The higher quality your hairbrush, the healthier your hair. We've found the best brushes have rubber bases with boar's head bristles. These allow bristles to flex, cutting down on the damage to your hair. Here, you'll find brushes for $10.95.
2. The rightshampoo for your hair type.
Caretricco Shampoos work by cleansing hair of dirt and oil. Picking the correct shampoo is all about the ingredients. Extra tip: More shampoo is not better. All you need is a half-dollar-sized dollop, perhaps a bit more if you have long hair. And although it says on the back of every shampoo bottle, "rinse & repeat," you don't need to if you did a good job the first time around. Beauty experts tout Pantene as the best basic shampoo on the market. We tend to agree, having tried dozens of different shampoos from the fabulously pricey to the basics. Check out their various products from moisturizing to volumizing.
3. Conditioner.
Unless you have baby fine hair that goes limp at the sight of creamy conditioners, you need to a conditioner. Hair pros will tell you conditioner can help repair heat- & chemical-damaged hair. The truth is conditioners protect your hair from these things (and harsh brushings). More than conditioning, we like how conditioners have moisturizing agents that coat hair leaving it tangle-free. Want to spend less time brushing out long wet hair? Condition the ends. Your comb will zip right through.
4. A wide-toothed comb.
Never, ever, ever, never use a brush to comb out wet hair. That's why they call it 'combing out' - a wide-toothed comb is the only equipment that should touch your wet head.
Spice-Neo Shine serum.
Here is where you may say, 'what?' But really, who would turn down a shiny mane if promised one? These shine serums really do work. If you have fine, straight hair, forgo the serums for the spray & don't use too much. Shine products will weigh down fine hair, so a quick spritz will do you. If your hair is thick, try the serums, which help smooth the hair & give it an added gleam, or just use more of the spray.

How to Get Movie Star Hair
Many people look towards the television and movie screens to determine what looks are in stylense. Most movie stars have the very best in hair and skin care people and
products, so seeing their styles makes regular people yearn for the same great looks on a more modest budget. Replicating a star's hairstyle is one of the
easiest ways to update your image and keep you looking trendy and
polished. So pick up the hot roller’s and get some movie star hair with
these tips.
Instructions
- Get some pictures. Look through lots of entertainment and fashion magazines to find the hairstyle you’d like the most. Cut out the photos or print them off on your computer at home to help you make your choice on what movie star hairstyle you’d like.
- Talk to your friends. What do they think would look good on you? Show them the photos you selected and get their advice on what they think may be a good selection for your new look.
- Be realistic. Remember, you are looking at the hairstyle, not the whole movie star and getting your hair cut or styled won’t make you look just as glamorous as the star you are trying to “replicate.” To get the best results, look at movie stars who have the same general face shape and hair texture as you do, so that the hair style will look just as great on you as it does on the actor.
- Go to a salon. Your local inexpensive salon might be able to do it, but if you are making a drastic change and want to make sure you are happy with the results, pamper yourself and go to a more upscale salon. Take the photos and consult with the stylist about what aspects of thelook you want, such as the color or length) and what you are willing to change about the style.5. Use hair products and hairstyling equipment. Remember, your idol has a team of people to do their hairstyle and most styles require more than just a wash and blow dry. Be willing to spend a little more time to do your hair in the mornings and be sure you have the right hair products and tools to do it right. I would recommend Arimino hair products. You may have to invest in hot rollers or a flat iron to create the look you want, so keep that in mind when you are choosing a style. To get sexy hair style, SPICE NEO Serum Nuance would work well.6. Upkeep the style. Maintaining a certain hairstyle means a visit to the salon every 6 weeks and keeping your hair moisturized and in good condition.

Should You Get Bangs?
As their beauty benefits transcend trends, bangs are a style
perennial. Those always popular, face-framing fringes can enhance a long
or narrow face structure, hide forehead lines or a large forehead,
dramatize your eyes -- even make you look younger. Some of our clients
report they just couldn't live without bangs! Yet other people regret
them as soon as they are cut.
Here are some guidelines for beautiful bangs to help you decide if they are for you.
Pros Know Best Cutting bangs is never, ever, a do-it-yourself beauty project! In addition to the need for a certain level of skill, there are so many considerations -- from hair texture to your facial features -- that go into cutting bangs that it is one job that should always be left to a hair pro. Bangs, let alone botched bangs, are hard to conceal and grow out.
Bangs Bonanza One size, or type, does not fit all when it comes to bangs. There are many different types of bangs, and your hairstylist can work with you to determine what type will flatter you. Ask your hairstylist about short bangs (a new look); angled bangs (flattering for prominent features) and easy-to-grow-out wispy bangs (ideal for those who don't want to commit to a bang style, as they can be easily swept off the face).
Texture Tips Bangs look best on straight to slightly wavy hair. Curly or textured hair should use layers or other techniques to frame and flatter the face.
The Shape of It Face structure comes into play when deciding whether bangs are right for you, and if so, what kind. Bangs work well on oval, long, and square faces. Avoid bangs if your face is round and full.
The Skin You're In Oily hair and oily skin don't make for a good bang look. Realize that your bangs rest on your forehead, so if you're prone to breakouts, it's best to keep your forehead clear of hair. If it's just your hair that tends to be greasy, be sure you're willing to keep it super clean in order to keep it from affecting your skin.
Growing Pains For as many clients we get wanting bangs, we have others trying to grow them out. To avoid growing pains, we suggest working with your stylist for a transitional style while waiting out your bangs. The best strategy to pass the time stylishly is to employ hair products, experiment with accessories, and schedule regular visits to your stylist. Be sure to get frequent trims as they will help your bangs keep a nice shape as they grow. Styling products, like hair wax or hair spray, can keep bangs off your face as they grow. Conceal, or hold in-between-stage bangs in place with a well-placed clip, band, or other hair accessory.

My favorite Sexy, Summery Ponytails
The humble ponytail is a styling staple and trusted sidekick for many of
us. It's simple, requires little-to-no time commitment and stays out of
our way. (All the things we look for in a good relationship.) And,
while mine are mostly utilitarian, they manage to look cute sometimes --
although this is usually a fluke. Other times, if my bangs are funky or
the messy-look is too pronounced, my ponytail accurately reflects the
nanosecond of thought/effort it took to twist and pull my hair out of my
face.
But, lately, I've been feeling bad for my ponytail pal -- what with braids getting all the attention and fanfare these days. So, I've sussed out some sexy, summery styles and asked top stylists to explain how I can (easily) recreate the looks myself.
Personally, Im a big fun of Victoria Beckham.
I always enjoy her hair style, and it doesn't disappoint with this deceptively simple 'do, which combines a subtle bouffant look at the crown with carefully placed, sleek pieces in front. Style difficulty rating, on a scale of one to 10? No more than a five or six.
"For the lift on top, the entire crown needs to be backcombed until it almost looks like a beehive before smoothing it down. "Backcomb one section at a time and apply Arimino hairsprays Peace hairsprays to each section. Then slightly brush just the surface of this area until you get the desired bump."
Gather all of your hair low at the nape and secure into a ponytail, continues, and pull out a few sections to frame your face.
How your layers and lengths around the face are cut is what will determine which pieces to pull out Then flatiron the ends of the ponytail and the pieces by your face.
