A Touch Of Romance

Valentine's Day is the most romantic day of the year. Whether you are spending the evening at home with your sweetie or heading out on the town, you will look and feel gorgeous with one of these romantic hairstyles.

Messy updo

One of the most popular hairstyles for special occasions is the messy updo. Instead of a perfectly coiffed style, this one is a bit messy and a lot sexy. It's ideal for a romantic night out on Valentine's Day. This style works for shoulder-length hair that is straight, wavy or curly.

To create a messy updo, begin by towel drying your hair and then  spray it with peace's chocolate spray. Using a paddle brush, separate and blowdry your hair. Neospray would work too.

Place a dollop of mousse into your hand and then work it through the hair in the back to create volume and texture.

Pull the majority of your hair into a high ponytail on the back of your head and secure with an elastic band. Be sure to leave some strands loose to frame your face.

Next, separate your ponytail into three or four sections. Then you need to bring each section down, folding it over and into the base of your ponytail, securing with bobby pins or another elastic band.

24H Finishing Spray!

I've tried so many hair products and hair sprays. Spice Neo from Japan seems to make the best hair products (definitely in that price range, and otherwise too!).

Does not make hair sticky. Great for fine, wavy/curly hair. Keeps frizz down. Doesn't mattify. I can't say enough good things about this. The mousse also works great. I'm just so happy that I bought these products.... finally something that makes me love my hair!!!

I love this finishing spray,  SPICE NEO Foam Ridge & Volume , also smells so great!
This form is best to express texture & ridgy with soft elasticity, not being crispy! It can create volume up with soft elastic finish, and adjust piecy level depends on amount of use. And it will moisturize the damaged tips. White peach Fragrance. 7 types of fruits essences give amazing moisturizing.

Hair Products for Thick Frizzy Wavy Hair

While every type of hair needs to be managed and kept healthy, thick, frizzy, wavy hair often requires special care and attention. This includes using products designed specifically to calm unruly hair and help you achieve a desired style, whether that’s sleek and straight or waves that don’t frizz. Always use products that will keep frizz from creeping back in, as well as hold your style in place throughout the day.

Start managing your thick, frizzy, wavy hair from the beginning of your shower with Arimino hair products from Japan.  Peace Chocolate Hair Spray claims to smooth and calm frizzy hair by nourishing it with a lightweight formula that will not make your hair feel heavy or weighed down. The product promises to tame unruly hair and still be gentle enough to use every day, and it claims that it will keep your hair sleek and shiny until you wash it again.

Arimino - Spice Water Shining Straight

Wonderful product from Japan! Arimino's Spice Water Shining Straight is a light cream that can be used on dry, damaged hair to smooth frizziness and soften. Many people use it in conjunction with straightening methods (flat iron, blow dryer, etc) as its name implies, but I just leave my hair in its natural wavy/curly texture. Shining Straight is not sticky or heavy like some silicone defrizzers are. It can be applied on wet or dry hair and doesn't build up or weigh down. Product has a light scent that doesn't provoke my allergies. Very few salons in the US carry it, like Gina Khan salon in CA, but you can find it online.

Styling tips for wavy Hair No2

Here are some more tips for wavy hair.

Wavy Hair and Moisturizing

What hair products are a must have solution for taming out of control waves?

Get beach beautiful waves with a little moisture.

Three words: moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. For an alternative approach to taming curl, try using a  Caretrico`s conditioner. Fine and curly/wavy hair may need an additional protein or strengthening treatment to even out unruly curl formations.

So, how come beach hair always looks good, where as bed head on wavy gals just looks plain…messy?

At the beach, there is always a fine amount of moisture blowing throughout the air. To get that look away from the beach, occasionally mist hair with water mixed with a few drops of conditioner.

Any tips for the morning after wavy hair, as in; how does a gal get rid of her tangles without compromising the wave?

Great question. Lightly mist the hair with water and a few drops of conditioner, apply a small amount of a moisturizing pomade scrunched into the ends of the hair. That will instantly refresh bed head curls.
