Hair Care Products and Tools Every Woman Needs

Are you overwhelmed by all hair mousses, gels, irons and other hair care products vying for your attention? What you really need boils down to 10 basic tools. Here are the hair care products and tools every woman should have on hand.

A good brush.
The higher quality your hairbrush, the healthier your hair. We've found the best brushes have rubber bases with boar's head bristles. These allow bristles to flex, cutting down on the damage to your hair.

The right shampoo for your hair type.
Shampoos work by cleansing hair of dirt and oil. Picking the correct shampoo is all about the ingredients. Extra tip: More shampoo is not better. All you need is a half-dollar-sized dollop, perhaps a bit more if you have long hair. And although it says on the back of every shampoo bottle, "rinse & repeat," you don't need to if you did a good job the first time around.I personally recommend to anyone, Japanese hair products are the best!

Conditioner.
Unless you have baby fine hair that goes limp at the sight of creamy conditioners, you need to a conditioner. Hair pros will tell you conditioner can help repair heat- & chemical-damaged hair. The truth is conditioners protect your hair from these things (and harsh brushings). More than conditioning, we like how conditioners have moisturizing agents that coat hair leaving it tangle-free. Want to spend less time brushing out long wet hair? Condition the ends. Your comb will zip right through.

Caring for Damaged Hair

Damaged hair is a downer, but you can still help it look its best. To learn what you can do to control dry, frizzy, damaged hair, read on.

You want your hair to be luscious, vibrant and healthy. But treatments, products and daily abuse can conspire to damage your hair. Here are some of the top causes for hair damage — and the steps you can take to minimize damage, or to cover up its unattractive appearance while strong, healthy hair is growing in.
What is damaged hair?
Damage occurs when the cuticle—the outside layer of each strand of hair—gets abused by chemicals, heat exposure or rough treatment. Damaged hair is usually dry, brittle, rough, frizzy and porous. Treating your hair with care can keep damage to a minimum.
What can I do to prevent damaged hair?
If you’re reading this, you probably already have damaged hair. But in the future, taking these steps can help limit damage to your hair:
  • If you blow dry your hair, use the lowest heat setting and leave your hair just a little damp so it can finish drying naturally.
  • Choose conditioner with sunscreen to help protect your hair from damage caused by the sun.
  • Minimize treatments such as coloring, perms and relaxing, and talk to your stylist about ways to make these treatments less damaging.
  • Use a wide-toothed comb, not a brush, to work tangles out of wet hair.
  • Protect your hair from chlorine and chemicals by using a swim cap when you head to the pool.
  • Wear a hat or scarf on windy days to help protect your hair.
  • Limit your use of curling irons and hot rollers, and if you use heat treatments apply a protector to your hair beforehand.
How can you treat damaged hair?
Once hair is damaged, it can’t be repaired. But, with good care you can make the hair appear healthier. Shampoo. To treat damaged hair, choose a gentle shampoo. There are lots of products on the market designed for damaged hair. Because washing can further dry your hair, shampoo only when your hair needs it—once or twice a week should be plenty. On other days rinse your hair with lukewarm water, or simply keep your hair dry and style it.
Conditioner. A good conditioner can help minimize the unattractive appearance of dry hair. Use a light, leave-in conditioner every day, and try a deep conditioner once a week. You might want to try a hair marbling treatment from Arimino as well. It's more effective.

Don’t make it worse. If you’ve damaged your hair with at-home coloring, perming or relaxing, don’t try to fix the problem yourself. You could escalate the problem and even lead to lots of breakage. Instead, seek professional help. Your stylist has almost certainly faced the same problem before.
While there’s little hope of repairing damaged hair, following these steps can help it look as attractive as possible while your new locks come in.

I would recommend Japanese hair care products.

How to take care of your damaged hair

Do you have unmanageable damaged hair? This article will tell you how to tame and take care of your damaged hair.

  1. Take a deep breath. Think positive and stay confident. Keep in mind that this process of restoring your hair might take a while, but you are off to a great start, and when you're finished, the results will be beautiful!
  2. Wash your hair well. Wash your hair every other day. Always use more conditioner than shampoo. Put the shampoo in as you normally do, but remember, not that much, and don't pile it on top of your head as this can cause damage. Then, put the conditioner in, mainly focus on the ends and towards the center of the hair if you have straight or wavy hair. If you have curly hair apply the conditioner to the whole length. Scrub your scalp well with your fingertips. The top of the hair is the part you need to be the least worried about.
  3. Leave the conditioner in for 5-15 minutes. You can leave the water on, just don't let it touch your hair for that time. During the wait, you can shave, listen to the radio, or wash your body. After the approximate time is over, brush through your hair with the conditioner in. Then thoroughly rinse the conditioner out.
  4. Bend down and let your hair dangle upside down and put a towel over your hair and gently squeeze or scrunch out the excessive water. Drying too roughly can damage the hair. After you towel dry it, put in a nickel sized amount of anti-frizz/anti-dry products. (Use more for curly or kinky hair.) If you don't have any products for frizz or dryness, just put a little bit of conditioner in your hair. If you have oily or greasy hair, just skip that step, or use a dime sized amount instead.
  5. Brush your hair with a comb, or a brush with gentle bristles. If you have naturally curly or wavy hair, use mousse, or styling gel while it's wet. Be gentle and work on tangles instead of ripping through them. If you took your shower in the morning, putting it into a ponytail or braid is a good option. If you're getting ready to go to bed, put it up in some fashion so moving in your sleep doesn't cause damage. Braids and a sleep cap can be helpful to preserve the hair, or a high ponytail.
  6. Let your hair naturally air dry.
  7. Repeat these steps for everyday that you shower, and you should start to see an improvement in your damaged hair.
  8. Use marbling hair treatments of Arimino hair care products. your hair. The protein will help rebuild the hair's natural keratin and other deep treatments help the hair retain moisture, especially if your hair is coarse or curly.
  9. Avoid using chemicals and heat on your hair. Likely, this is how your hair got damaged in the first place. Avoid too much hair dye, chemical relaxers or straighteners. Look into natural hair dyes like henna for red hair, indigo for black hair, and lemon juice or other citrus for some natural lightening.
    • When you go swimming saturate your hair with conditioner before hand, and cleanse well afterward. A swim cap will also help.
  10. Protect your hair from the sun. You can use a hat or a bandanna while you're outside for long periods of time. Or you can apply a styling product with a sunscreen ingredient such as benzophenone.
  11. Try not to let your hair get caught in things throughout the day and use friendly hair accessories that don't tangle easily in the hair.
  12. Wear your hair in protective styles like rolls and braids so that it becomes less tangled and is exposed less to the elements. Make use of hats if you're having a particularly bad hair day, and if you just can't stand your damaged hair, you can acquire a natural looking wig.

How to Care for Fine Hair

Use a good shampoo and conditioner like Japanese hair products.   If you have oily hair,  which is not uncommon for people with fine hair, it's best to put the conditioner on the ends of your hair to prevent split ends but stay away from the scalp. If you have a dry itchy scalp, go with moisturizing shampoos and use a lot of conditioner.

Use hair mask if your hair is damaged. It's a great way to keep hair healthy and shiny for all types. If you have oily hair, it'll still work too but make sure to use a good clarifying shampoo and get a mask that is not too heavy because it will weigh your hair down and it's just not good for fine hair. Using a treatment at night and leaving it in while you sleep is great, just wash it out the next day.

Don't comb or brush your hair excessively. If your hair is fine or even fine and curly, it could easily break your hair and cause split ends especially when it's wet. Never brush your hair while it's still wet.

Let your hair air dry. Don't use styling tools like flat irons, blow dryers, and etc. Your hair may look nice but in the long run it'll ruin your hair completely for all hair types. If you have to use one, use a heat protector to prevent serious damage.

Wash your hair every day with a gentle shampoo. I would recommend Arimino Sherpa hair care series.  Fine hair shows when it's dirty much faster than coarse or thick hair. If you can afford to skip a day, however, you should because washing your hair daily actually causes damage. Plus if you're one to straighten your hair all the time, it helps a bit if you take a shower every other day or so, since you wont have to use heat tools every day after you take a shower.

Winter hair Care

There's no doubt that the onset of cooler temperatures and the fewer hours of sunlight bring with them a new set of hair demands. Blustery winds snarl hair. Snow, rain, and icy cold make hair brittle and dry. Did you know indoor heating can be as damaging as spending the afternoon under a hair dryer? From split ends to dry frizz, static electricity to hat hair, when it hits, a bad winter hair day can last for months.

Somehow girls who know they have to use conditioner in the summer months because of the heat and the sun, forget that from December to February, indoor heating can totally dehydrate your winter hair. Not to worry. No matter what's causing your hair woes, you can take the protective, replenishing steps to insure your hair does not get damaged. Here are BeingGirl's top ten winter hair care tips.

Winter Hair Tip 1
If you've ever tried to pull socks out of the clothes dryer, you know that static electricity can be a powerful force. When cold conditions cause static to play havoc with your hair, use the same remedy you would on your laundry: a fabric-softening dryer sheet like Bounce. Rub it lightly on your hair and it will remove the static. Or mix two tablespoons of fabric softener with one tablespoon of water and use as a rinse.

Winter Hair Tip 2
Wear a scarf, hat or cap to protect your hair from the cold and wind, but make sure it's not so tight it interferes with the circulation in your scalp.

Winter Hair Tip 3
Avoid taking hot showers or washing your hair in hot water. Use warm or cool water instead. That way the heat won't dry out and/or damage your hair and skin.

Winter Hair Tip 4
Shampoo less frequently and condition after each time. Lock in the moisture by running your hair through cold water. This has the added benefit of giving your hair added shine. Don't rinse out your conditioner completely. Leave in about 25 percent of it. If your hair is too fine, thin, or soft for that, leave the conditioner just in the ends.

Winter Hair Tip 5
Limit the use of blow dryers and curling irons. If you must use them, try using a leave-in conditioner first. Diffuse it on low heat, concentrating on the roots. The less you deal with styling tools, the better off you'll be.

Winter Hair Tip 6
Don't go outside with a wet head. Aside from the fact that your mother will yell, you risk breakage. If your hair freezes, it may break.

Winter Hair Tip 7
Check out your hair spray to make sure it doesn't have a high alcohol content. Likewise avoid spraying perfume in your hair. Both tend to make hair feel dry and brittle.

Winter Hair Tip 8
A humidifier can help by adding moisture to the air, which cuts down on static. Also drinking a lot of water will keep you hydrated on the inside.

Winter Hair Tip 9
Regular trims every 8–10 weeks are important to get rid of parched ends and give curls more bounce.

Winter Hair Tip 10
If you want to supplement your store-bought products with an all natural treatment, put a few drops of warm, natural oil—olive, safflower, avocado, or jojoba—in the palm of your hand, rub 'til the skin glistens, then starting at the ends, work upwards to the roots. Leave on overnight.

How to Wash Wax From Hair

Wax is finding its way into more styling products today because of its ability to hold a style and add shine. Removing this wax can take a little extra effort to prevent build-up. Oops! Get candle wax in your hair? We’ve got a solution for that as well.

How to Wash Wax From Hair

Wax is finding its way into more styling products today because of its ability to hold a style and add shine. Removing this wax can take a little extra effort to prevent build-up. Oops! Get candle wax in your hair? We’ve got a solution for that as well.
Removing Styling Wax

You Will Need:

Steps to Wash Out the Wax:

  1. Begin by wetting the hair completely with warm water.
  2. Apply a caretrico conditioner and work it in with your hands. The conditioner will work to remove the wax.
  3. Rinse off the conditioner and apply a professional shampoo.
  4. Work the shampoo in with your fingers.
  5. Rinse and repeat if necessary.

Removing Candle Wax from Hair

You Will Need:
  • Paper towels
  • Hair dryer
  • Conditioner
  • Comb
  • Shampoo

Steps to Remove the Wax:

  1. If solid wax had gotten in your hair, it will need to be melted to be removed.
  2. Begin by wrapping the waxed section of the hair in paper towels.
  3. Use a hair dryer on high heat to heat the wax through the paper towel. As the wax melts, it will be absorbed by the paper towel.
  4. Remove the paper towel and replace with new, clean towels.
  5. Repeat until the wax is removed.
  6. If any wax remains, wet the hair with very warm water and apply a conditioner. The warm water will soften the wax, and the conditioner will lubricate the strands so it can be removed.
  7. Comb through the hair to remove the wax.
  8. Once removed, wash the hair with shampoo.

Additional Tips and Advice

  • Some hair waxes, such as hair relaxers, will need to be removed professionally. Talk to your hairdresser for removal options.
  • Some shampoos contain wax in them as well. Choose one that will remove the shampoo without adding more to your strands. Caretrico hair products is one brand that has been found to successfully remove wax for others.
  • For regular build up, a clarifying shampoo should do the trick.

If your hair is...wavy

1. In the shower: If your hair is thick, use the shampoo and conditioner recommended for curly hair. If it's fine, volumizing formulas—Like Arimino Caretrico Shampoo Type S and Arimino Caretrico Treatment Type S (Conditioner). These are hair salon products.

2. When hair is still damp: Wavy hair tends to be dry, so the outer layers can look fuzzy; a styling cream like SPICE NEO Natural Cream  controls flyaways.

3. Just before you leave the house: To block humidity (a preemptive strike against frizz), apply a SPICE NEO Serum Nuance. This Milk contains a Fresh Keratin, which provides elasticity repair in the hair. Best used on all lengths of hair, Nuance Serum helps to restore wave and curl in dry damaged hair. This is the best serum for curly hair.

Hair Serums

Smooth your way to frizz-free, glossy hair with serums

Not a conditioner, not a spray, hair serum has always been a bit of a mystery. You’d be forgiven for not knowing exactly how to use it. But this styling aid is a must for sleek tresses. Read on to learn how to find the best one for you.

What exactly are serums?

Typically, serums are gels or liquids that lightly coat the hair follicle to add moisture and shine. These multi-use styling aids fight frizz, protect hair from heat and UV damage, and give strands a glossy finish. We’re addicted to the way serums make our hair manageable and polished, even on days when we don’t blow dry.

How do you pick the right one?

Look for serums that are formulated for your hair. If you have oily or fine hair, steer clear of anything labeled ‘extra-moisturizing,’ as these can weigh strands down. For color treated hair, opt for a serum with UV-blocking ingredients . SPICE NEO's Hair Serum Milk Gloss is our favorite all-around winner, with a silky texture that never feels greasy. It's hair salon products.

How should you use it?

While serums are often applied to damp hair before styling to protect strands from the heat, they work just as well on dry hair. Put a few drops in the palm of your hand (a little bit goes a long way!) and rub your hands together before smoothing through your hair. Start near your ends, which are more likely to be dry, and work your way up to mid-strand. Next, use your fingertips to fix stubborn flyaways near your roots.

How to prevent static hair in cold weather

Static hair can be a big problem during the winter when the cold, dry air dehydrates hair. Here are some ways to calm those electric locks.

Instructions

1- Deep-condition your hair regularly.  Properly moisturized hair is less likely to be affected by static.

2- Use a "leave-in" conditioner on your hair after you wash it, or apply conditioning hair gel. These products help to weigh the hair down
3- Use hair spray your hairbrush or comb with an anti-static spray before you run it through your hair.

4-Keep a fabric softener sheet handy and run it over your hair when it starts to get out of control. Carry it in your purse so you can use it several times during the day if necessary.

5- Avoid hair products that include ingredients that will dry out your hair, such as alcohol or harsh chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulfates.

Beauty Tips: 15 Seconds to Beautiful Hair

Hair tips # 1: Don't over-wash your hair

Ever wonder why women in Europe or Asia, or for that matter anywhere outside the United States, have such amazingly healthy-looking hair? They do not, I repeat, do not wash their hair every day. They go at least two or three days between washes, letting their natural scalp oils coat and nourish their strands. Now I know there are some women out there saying, "You're absolutely nuts. I go to the gym, run, do yoga, and sweat, so my hair has to be washed every day." Take it from me, it doesn't. Instead, just give your hair a good rinse with water and follow with minimal product to avoid buildup. I promise, soon you'll find that you have a head full of lustrous, healthy hair.

Hair tips # 2: Learn to love Caretrico leave in conditioner

If you give your hair a break from shampoo, it will dry out less and won't require much conditioner. That said, I am sort of addicted to leave in conditioner and recommend massaging one into damp hair on days you do wash. It gives your do just the right amount of moisture it needs to stay soft and adds a bit of texture and hold too.

Hair tips # 3: Stock up on Caretrico shampoo

This is a permanent fixture in my styling case because it has so many uses. For example, you can dust dry shampoo on to absorb excess oil when you've gone too long between washes. Or you can use it to give fine hair some oomph—just apply it at your roots all over your head and brush through.

Dry Hair a Problem? Read How to Solve It!

If your hair is dry, it can look dull, frizzy, and unflattering. You can't get it to look healthy and glossy and styling it is a nightmare! Don't despair--read our tips and tricks to improve the condition of your hair and say goodbye to frizz for good!

If your hair is dry, do not wash it every day. Unless you have a job where you get very dirty, every two days or even longer will be quite enough. Also, what you do afterwards can damage your hair. For instance, hair dryers and curling irons or hot irons can make dry hair even worse.

Use Caretrico Shampoo and Conditioner

Use a mild shampoo to wash your hair. A good choice if your hair is very dry is to use baby shampoo. This is very gentle and will not strip the natural oils from your hair. Use a good quality conditioner after washing your hair. A "leave-in" type is very effective.

Once a week, use an intensive conditioner or hot oil treatment. Have the ends of your hair cut regularly, about every six weeks. This will help prevent split ends, which are both unsightly and damaging. There are products for sale that claim to "repair" them. If they have any effect at all, it will be a temporary one. The only cure for split ends is to snip them off.

Avoid Too Much Heat!
If possible, allow your hair to air dry naturally sometimes instead of using a hair dryer. Hot styling appliances are very useful but are another possible source of damage. Do your hair a favor and try not to use them too often. Strong sunshine can turn your hair to straw! If you go out in the sun, wear a hat or a baseball cap.
The chemicals in swimming pool water or the salt in sea water can also dry out your hair. Invest in special products, which you can buy to prevent damage. If in doubt, ask the assistant in your local store or your stylist for advice.

Banish the Frizz!
Dry hair is often also frizzy. A very effective way of taming frizzy hair is to use Spice Neo hair serum. The results are instant and will often transform frizzy hair. the trick is never to use too much. A little serum will tame the frizzies and make your hair glossy and manageable. Too much and your hair will look lank and greasy.

How to Get Rid of Split Ends

If you have hair, odds are you have at least a few split ends.  A few aren't much of a problem; you probably wouldn't even notice them unless you lifted a section of hair up close to your face and crossed your eyes looking for them. But if you have a lot of split ends, they can wreak havoc on the texture and overall appearance of your hair by contributing to frizz and flyaways. we'll discuss trimming the damaged ends of your hair because it's the only way to actually get rid of split ends. It is possible to temporarily seal the split by applying a product that coats each strand with a thin layer of silicone, so split end menders are covered at the bottom of the page as well. Ultimately, though, the best way to stop split ends is to prevent them. For strategies proven to minimize hair splitting, read on.

How to Prevent Split Ends
Protect your hair from breaking. Your daily hair care routine can actually do a lot of damage to your hair if you aren't careful. In the shower, rather than pile your hair on top of your head and scrub it vigorously, massage shampoo into just your scalp; the rest of your hair will get clean as you rinse the suds out. Because a brush can tear wet hair, always use a wide-toothed comb instead. Once your hair is dry, a wide brush with a pad beneath the bristles is the gentlest way to remove tangles. Since it's even possible to damage split end-prone hair when you move around in your sleep, a satin pillowcase can help your hair move with you instead of stretching or breaking.

Protect your hair's natural moisture. Most experts agree that it's unnecessary to wash hair every day, and doing so not only wears down the hair, but also strips away the oils from your scalp that naturally moisturize your hair. Instead, try washing your hair just once every two or three days. Using a salon shampoo and conditioner can also help prevent split ends from forming because more expensive products generally have higher concentrations of gentle detergents and high quality moisturizers. Regular deep conditioning treatments to replace lost moisture can also help protect your hair from split ends.

Protect your hair from heat. Regular blow drying and heat styling can make hair dry, brittle, and more prone to split ends. Letting your hair air dry more often and working with your hair's natural texture rather than fighting it with straighteners or hot rollers and curling irons will help prevent hair breakage and splitting. If you must blow dry, straighten, or curl your hair, use a lower heat setting and apply a heat protection spray or serum before styling to give your hair an extra shot of moisture and coat the hair shaft with additional line of defense against the heat.

Protect your hair from chemicals. Many common chemicals can dry or break down hair cuticles, leaving it vulnerable to splitting. If you color, perm, or chemically relax your hair, waiting as long as you can between treatments and using high-moisture shampoo, conditioner, and styling products can help keep it looking smooth and healthy. You should always wash your hair after swimming, especially in chlorinated pools or hot tubs, and since the salt in your own body sweat can be hard on your hair, it's also a good idea to shower after a workout or any other activity that leaves you feeling sweaty.

Protect your hair from the sun. Heat and UV rays from the sun can dry and damage your hair just as they do your skin. If you'll be spending time in the sun, a wide-brimmed hat is the most certain way to keep harmful rays off your hair (and your face, too), but if you aren't a hat wearer, many brands of leave-in conditioner are formulated to contain sunscreen. These products are most effective if you work them into your hair with your hands to coat as many individual strands as possible, as thoroughly as possible.

How to Style Asian Hair part 1

Hairstyle Handbook

Start with a Caretrico`s shampoo so hair looks shine and glossy.
Blow-dry hair straight, concentrating mostly on the roots to mid-shaft.
Use large hot rollers on your ends, leaving them in for two to three minutes for the slightest wave.

Use a color-protecting shampoo and conditioner to keep your single process from fading away and looking dull.

Use a volume mousse right at the roots and dry hair with a nozzle attachment to focus air right at the roots.

Drop the brush and shake out your hair as you dry so you get extra oomph all over.
Spray hair with a volumizer like at the roots. Re-dry the front section with a round brush, pulling hair up and back.
Take that section and twist it back, securing it with a bobby pin so you get a lot of lift in front. Keep the ends in a messy loop in the back of your head.
Run a tiny dab of shine serum through the ends of your hair.

Continue to next week..

Get beach beautiful waves with a little moisture.

So, how come beach hair always looks good, where as bed head on wavy gals just looks plain…messy?

At the beach, there is always a fine amount of moisture blowing throughout the air. To get that look away from the beach, occasionally mist hair with water mixed with a few drops of conditioner.

Any tips for the morning after wavy hair, as in; how does a gal get rid of her tangles without compromising the wave?

Great question. Lightly mist the hair with water and a few drops of conditioner, apply a small amount of a moisturizing pomade scrunched into the ends of the hair. That will instantly refresh bed head curls.

Beautiful Long Hair

Long hair makes a woman feel feminine, beautiful, attractive and glamorous. Practically all women, at some time in their lives, want to grow their hair really long. And almost all men want their woman to have long hair. If you have long hair then it is true you have to take care for your hair and have to devote exclusive time for hair care. Having a healthy, shiny and beautiful hair takes a commitment to continuing care. Besides professional cutting or trimming every two months to promote natural bounce and remove split ends, giving long hair special attention at home each day will help make it the best it can possibly be. Even if you have neglected your hair in the past, it's never too late to get to the root of the problems associated with it, or to practice some preventive maintenance. Therefore learning a few tips for caring for your long hair is handy and helpful. Therefore we have brought for you tips to help you manage those long locks.

To achieve beautiful, shiny and long hair we recommend that you let these tips go straight to your head:

Washing
When washing your hair, you should treat it with the utmost care. Over enthusiastic rubbing, scrubbing and pulling can lead to quite a lot of damage and hair loss and therefore should be avoided. Hair should be rinsed very, very thoroughly and with care. Never bunch your hair up when you wash it. Keep it straight down as you wash from the scalp to the tips, running your fingers lightly through your hair to keep it from tangling and to fully wash it. Use a caretrico shampoo and try to have the last rinse with cold water. This shrinks the molecules of the hair and gets rid of superfluous coatings, making hair much more manageable. Use a caretrico conditioner to condition your hair. When you've finished the washing and conditioning process, mop up excess water with a towel wrapped around your head for a few minutes.

Shampooing
Choosing best shampoo is very important. I would recommend caretrico products from japan. First, remove surface dirt through gentle rinse. Rinse and lather again, massaging your head to increase the blood supply to the scalp and roots. Don't vigorously rub braids or weaves but do rinse in cascades of water to clean the hair thoroughly. Wash your hair more frequently if you have itching, flaking or dandruff. These conditions are not due to dryness. Thoroughly rinse out conditioner, or the residue will dirty your hair faster.

Combing
Never brush hair when it's wet. De-tangle as much of your hair as you can with your fingers. Finally, use a wide-spaced comb to smooth and untangle your hair gently. Begin to comb from the bottom, working slowly up the strands. Never start at the top and tug downwards as this can do a lot of damage to your hair.

Brushing
Bend forward allowing hair to fall. Use a large oval brush to bring hair from the nape of the neck over the head and down to the ends. Then, stand straight again with hair falling normally and brush from the underside of the hairline down the strands to the ends. Now, brush the top layers into place with long, even strokes. After each stroke, smooth hair with hands to reduce static. Increase the number of strokes daily until you find a comfortable routine. Never brush hair when wet.

Protection
Protect your hair from over-exposure to sun, salt, chemicals or chlorinated water, wind and pollution. Wear a hat, cap or scarf if you can. Seek out hair products with sunscreens

Recipe for Super Healthy Hair

Spice Peace line is the ultimate in luxury for damaged hair.  The whole line revolves around repairing and protecting your hair.   The line contains shampoos, conditioners, protectants, deep treatments and styling aids.  I have used several products from this line in the past, and  some of them more recently.  My friend worked at a salon for several years before opening her own, and her old salon featured different products so I kind of "forgot" how great the Arimino line really is!  When I worked as a cosmetology instructor we used the Spice system on the backbar.  Although I had suggested it for many people  I had not used it for myself for many years.  A few months ago I was getting my hair done by my friend at the salon she works at and I saw the treatment system on the backbar.  My hair had been feeling a bit dry and damaged so I asked if I could add on a treatment service.  All I can say is WOW!  My hair felt SO amazing after!  I had been using another deep conditioning treatment at home but this made my hair feel so much better I couldn't believe it!

Well it only took once until I knew I needed to dump my other backbar treatment for her clients and immediately start using Peace treatment on my backbar!  In her salon I chose to feature the 2 deep treatments. Just amazing result.

The reason why this treatment is so great is because it gives moisture and protein.  Protein strengthens your hair and moisture makes it soft.  A lot of treatments only contain protein OR moisture, with the two steps you get both.
