How to Style Asian Hair part 1

Hairstyle Handbook

Start with a Caretrico`s shampoo so hair looks shine and glossy.
Blow-dry hair straight, concentrating mostly on the roots to mid-shaft.
Use large hot rollers on your ends, leaving them in for two to three minutes for the slightest wave.

Use a color-protecting shampoo and conditioner to keep your single process from fading away and looking dull.

Use a volume mousse right at the roots and dry hair with a nozzle attachment to focus air right at the roots.

Drop the brush and shake out your hair as you dry so you get extra oomph all over.
Spray hair with a volumizer like at the roots. Re-dry the front section with a round brush, pulling hair up and back.
Take that section and twist it back, securing it with a bobby pin so you get a lot of lift in front. Keep the ends in a messy loop in the back of your head.
Run a tiny dab of shine serum through the ends of your hair.

Continue to next week..

5 tips from keeping your hair safe from rainy weather

Stay pretty in the humidity with these smart hair style strategies!

Spring and summer are a time for sunshine and bright skies, but they're also a time where seasonal storms can wreak havoc on your hair. Between the increasing warmth in the atmosphere, the humidity, and wind, stormy weather is definitely more fun to look at than it is to go out in. If you do need to leave the house, though, there are some uncomplicated ways to keep you from winding up with a bird's nest on top of your head. To find out how, just read on.

1. Don't dry your hair all the way, and use a gel. Keeping your hair damp and then coating it in a managing product keeps water molecules from puffing up your hair the minute you walk outside. If you have fine, straight hair, though, this might not work as well for you, since flatness is already an issue.

2. Use plenty of hairspray. Hairspray coats your hair and holds it in place, so excess moisture won't penetrate the cuticles causing your hair to fall flat.

3. Wear a rain bonnet. An umbrella may keep you reasonably dry, but to keep your hair truly out of the wet, an old-fashioned plastic rain bonnet is the way to go.

4. Use dehumidifying spray. An antifrizz spray is a real help for people who are constantly battling overly poofy hair, as it acts a barrier between your hair and the surrounding moisture in the air.

5. Braid it. Braiding is one of the easiest ways to keep frizzy hair under control. And try to use this Styling spray- Mist Moisture Plus, it's a look that holds better in rainy wind than most other types of styles.

Simple Scene-Girl Hairstyle

Scene style is a popular emerging style with teens and twenty-somethings. Scene style doesn't have any rules or boundaries, but it is all about using style and color to create a unique personality. Scene is best described as a mixture between preppy and emo styles. A scene hairstyle is key to breaking into this style genre, and it is relatively easy to create using cut, color and accessories to accentuate the individuality of the scene girl.

Cuts

  • A scene haircut is easily done by visiting your hairstylist. A stacked bob haircut is heavily layered in the front, with a long fringe bang on the side. If you want to go shorter, a choppy, all-over look is a simple way to get scene-girl hair. If you want to change your hair on your own, purchase a razor comb at a beauty-supply store and razor cut only the front portion of your hair to create an uneven look.

Styles

  • Once you've had your hair cut in a scene style, then you'll need to style it the right way. Scene hair is always stick straight, which means a flat iron is used. Straighten your hair all over, concentrating on the front portion, which should fall over the eyes. Often, scene girls will tease the crown of their hair so that it has a lot of volume, while the rest of their hair is straight. You can add braids and twists to change your look and style.

Colors

  • Anything goes when it comes to scene girl hair color which is why it's easy to change your look with temporary colors. The base hair color is usually jet black or peroxide blonde. Bright neon colors are popular, like purple, pink or blue, or a mixture of all three. Another popular hair-color pattern is a "coon-tail" design on one or two portions of the hair. This is when a streak of hair is striped to look like a raccoon tail, usually on the portion of hair that hangs down behind the ears. I strongly recommend to use shampoo for color hair such as Colorstory i Shampoo.

    Accessories

    • Scene girls can easily change their looks by using bright and colorful accessories to dress up their hairstyles. Preppy hair bands adorned with bows or argyle patterns are extremely popular, as are small bows and barrettes that one would find at a child's accessory shop. Children's characters like Hello Kitty and Dora the Explorer are popular fodder for hair bands and accessories, as they are brightly colored and individual.

      Products

      • If you're looking for the right products to hold your scene-girl hair in place, then look for foolproof ones like Spice Neo Texure Wax  that you can apply to the ends of your hair and tousle for a "piecey" look. Add mousse to your hair after showering, so it will hold the style that you place it in, and you can enjoy your scene-girl style longer.

How To Talk To Your Stylist

Getting my hair cut is downright terrifying. Whether you've got hair down to there or a super close cut, getting a bad haircut can totally disrupt your look. Why? Because hair is an inherently personal part of your look; it's not something you apply, but rather something that reflects your mood and your style. For example,  you're practical but fun, while long beautiful curly locks might suggest you love all things glamorous. Either way you look at it, your hair makes a statement—whether you want it to or not. That's why I've been avoiding the inevitable: finding a new hairstylist.

I recently visited Gina Khan Salon in San Francisco. Walking into the trendy San Francisco down town studio, I started to sweat—I personally prefer really classic cuts, nothing at all like the pictures on the walls. But a stylist smile, and I knew it was going to be okay. As a stylist with over 10 years of experience, she's seen a lot of clients with different needs. And guess what? She meets them, including mine. Here are her tips for getting exactly what you want when you're in the chair:

Keep it short. Not your hair—your pitch! "The best consultations take 30 seconds," she says. "The more you talk about it, the more muddled it gets. A good stylist only needs a few minutes to get a good sense of you, your style, and your wants."

Show and tell.   bringing a picture is a great way to get your ideas across, but don't expect an exact replica. "It's great when clients bring in photos because it gives me an idea of the kind of shape and styling they're looking for," she says. "But bear in mind that you'll never get exactly what's on the page. It's our job to customize that picture for you.

Problem Solving "Don't worry about speaking in cosmetology jargon. Speak in general broader terms, starting with how you want to change your length,"  Try to relate your cut to a problem-solving experience. For example: "My hair feels heavy on this side" translates to a need for more layers, while "It takes too long to dry!" might tell her to cut some length and thin it out.

Be open minded. They're trained for a reason! Unless there's a major miscommunication, sit back and relax in the chair. Know that your stylist is schooled in making a cut (or color!) work for your skin, shape, and age based on the parameters you give them. "If you're doubting their competence to the point where you can't relax, consider switching stylists,"

6 Best Hot-Weather Hair Tips

Summer is in the home stretch—but it’s not over yet. Prevent a heat-and-humidity-related tress mess with these 7 simple tricks to keep hair smooth, manageable, and frizz-free

Fact: Summer is hard on your hair. Humidity is your do’s enemy number one. Increased precipitation in the air not only adds frizz, but can also make hair weaker and more prone to breakage when you brush or gather it into a ponytail. Add to that air pollution that is higher due to summer travel, and exposure to drying chemicals like chlorine and damaging UV rays, and it’s little wonder your mane is a mess. Prevention found 7 easy yet effective tricks to keep hair pretty, healthy, and frizz-free, even in summer’s doggiest days.

1. Lose the flat iron. Not only are the heated plates creating further damage-induced frizz, but a supersleek style will only make the inevitable frizz stand out even more. In this weather you want to master the air-dry: If you have straight hair, distribute a styling cream such as SPICE NEO Serum Milk Gloss from your roots through the midsection, then clip strands on the top of your head until they’re almost dry. “When you let your hair down, you’ll have more lift in the root area

For curly hair, apply a curl-enhancing cream, then twist sections around your finger to encourage spiral shapes. Once hair is dry, don’t tousle it. “A broken curl is a frizzy curl,”

2. Add sunscreen to your hair. New hair products contain sunblocking ingredients to prevent color and strength degradation. Try adding Alterna Bamboo UV+ Color Protection Fade-Proof Fluide ($22; alternahaircare.com), a new UV-blocking booster, to any of your favorite hairstyle products you already use. You can also create similar protection results by “running your hands through your hair after applying sunscreen to leave a fine residue of SPF on your strands,”

3. Look for a hair treatment. “If you pull lightly at a strand of your hair and it stretches like an elastic band, it means it’s been so damaged that the structure of your hair has been degraded Use a spray or mask that has wheat-based or vegetable-based proteins listed in the ingredients in it.” These proteins help fortify the strands and patch the damage. Try Caretrico Leave-in

4. “Dust” your hair. Not only do split ends look scraggly, but they can also travel further up the hair strands faster if they aren’t nipped in the bud. Go to a hairstylist for a mini-trim called a “dusting”

5. Pretreat hair before you swim. “Water can be one of the harshest aggressors on hair and hair color,”  Bring a bottle of regular or deep conditioner such as Caretrico`s Grace Blue with you to the beach and apply to hair between dips in the ocean or pool.

6. Comb, don’t brush. “Brushing when it’s humid can damage your hair more than in other types of weather. When hair soaks up moisture from the air, it swells and becomes more likely to break as you pull the brush through.” To prevent this from happening, make sure to untangle tresses using a wide-tooth comb; it’s less likely to snag strands than a brush.

Is Ceramic Titunium Healthy for Hair?

There are many benefits to using an iron that features ceramic titunium plate. First, ceramic is known for emitting negative ions which work to smooth and relax the hair. Ceramic radiates far-infrared heat which traps in moisture as well as seals the hairs cuticle leaving your hair looking healthier and frizz free. A Titunium flat iron will provide amazing durability under high heats and offers an even heat distribution. When combined with the ceramic, titanium helps to eliminate frizz, enhance shine, and improve the overall look of you hair. Your hair is left hydrated, soft and healthier. A titunium ceramic hair iron is a great way to straighten your hair with out the burn as it uses a better heat transfer method than non ceramic titanium irons. And, dont forget to apply thermal protection hair spray.

Stay hot with the Hippie Headband Fad

Hippie headbands are still hot this summer!  A hippie fashion accessory can be worn in so many styles and for so many occasions.  Just follow a few easy tips and you’ll be headband heartthrob!

1.  Use professional shampoo to ensure you have enough va- va- va- voom to pull of hippie style.  After your shower, blow dry your hair upside down for even more voluminous resutls.

2.  Use a Peace chocolate Spray to keep your tresses beautiful and healthy, especially close to the roots.  Use a 1″ flat iron to create loose curls:  Clamp a 1″ section of hair about an inch from the roots, wrap the tail of the hair around the straighener, make one full rotation with the straightener and pull to the end.

3.  Allow the curls to cool and then run for your fingers through them to create a wavy, tousled “messy on purpose” look.  Spritz the entire style with a flexible hold hairspray for long lasting results.

4.  Add a headbands baby!  Use just one or layer a few, no matter what you’ll look hot.

Watch Your Diet

"What’s happening on the inside of your body shows up on the outside and in your hair,"  Consuming a diet full of good fats like salmon and walnuts, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, will help improve the health of your hair and scalp. Here are a few other foods that pack a beauty punch: Dark green vegetables: Spinach, broccoli, and Swiss chard are brimming with vitamins A and C, as well as iron, which protect against hair loss. Lean meats: Protein is the building block of hair. Without enough in your system, you may experience greater hair loss. Low-fat dairy: Foods such as yogurt and cottage cheese contain calcium, which promotes hair growth.

And, our use our Japanese hair products to make your hair beautiful and healthy.

Reassess Your Routine

Hormones are the ultimate double-edged sword—they stimulate both hair growth and hair loss. As we age, the production of androgens (hormones present in both men and women) increases, changing the look and feel of hair follicles; for some of us they get thicker, and for others experience thinning hair. "Over time, adjust your product regimen,"

If your hair is becoming coarser and dryer, stock up on heavier, more hydrating conditioners packed with emollient ingredients like cat ion keratin, rose hip oil, amino ceramide. Try peace/caretrico hair products which contains selected the finest natural ingredients for dry hair and damaged hair. In addition, boost your biotin intake (the recommended dosage is 30 mcg a day). Biotin, which you can get from whole grains, fruit, and eggs, may help promote hair health by increasing metabolism so that the nutrients you consume reach your hair follicles too.

Think Swingy, Not Stiff

The stiffer you make your hair with wafts of hair spray or globs of gel, the older you look. The number one way to avoid grandmotherly "helmet hair" is to stop overusing products,  For a softer, more natural look, don't overapply spray directly to the hair. "[Position the bottle] far away from your hair, and mist hair for a light hold that doesn't look crunchy,"
You can also swap your extra hold hair spray for a lighter formula — we like Spice Shower Wax hair spray. If your hair is curly, avoid weighing it down with sticky gels. "This gives you that hard and crunchy look that we want to stay away from,"
I recommends choosing a cream-based product or very lightweight mousse. To give your hair movement when styling at home, avoid curling it under with a round brush while drying, and try blow-drying hair away from your face. If you want to achieve volume, use Velcro rollers to create height without overcurling the ends. "If you have bangs, do not round-brush your bangs!" —that style makes you look dated.

Have a wonderful day!

Easy and cute style- Ponytail

Try a Face-Flattering Ponytail

Pulling your hair away from your face in a single sleek pony always makes you look young and refreshed,"

Positioning your ponytail at just the right angle can give you an instant face-lift. To get the perfect high pony, start by putting your pointer finger at the very top of your head. Then measure one pinky-length back from there and secure your hair here for a sleek, classic look. To smooth down renegade flyaways around your hairline, brush a dot of moisturizing gel and styling sprays and use Spice Tube Gels.

You will get perfect ponitail style with Arimino`s hair products!

Important Tricks for Younger-Looking Hair

"Healthy hair is shiny hair, and shiny hair is young hair," I suggests using Top shampoo, conditioners, and professional hair treatment fortified with vitamins A, B, C, E, and nutrients such as calcium and magnesium to help repair damage, lock in moisture and boost luster from the inside out. Check the ingredient label to make sure the formula doesn't contain sulfates—these harsh cleansers, found in many shampoos, can strip hair of its natural oils. Many people like peace hair products which is sulfate free! Great products!

Styling tips for wavy Hair No2

Here are some more tips for wavy hair.

Wavy Hair and Moisturizing

What hair products are a must have solution for taming out of control waves?

Get beach beautiful waves with a little moisture.

Three words: moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. For an alternative approach to taming curl, try using a  Caretrico`s conditioner. Fine and curly/wavy hair may need an additional protein or strengthening treatment to even out unruly curl formations.

So, how come beach hair always looks good, where as bed head on wavy gals just looks plain…messy?

At the beach, there is always a fine amount of moisture blowing throughout the air. To get that look away from the beach, occasionally mist hair with water mixed with a few drops of conditioner.

Any tips for the morning after wavy hair, as in; how does a gal get rid of her tangles without compromising the wave?

Great question. Lightly mist the hair with water and a few drops of conditioner, apply a small amount of a moisturizing pomade scrunched into the ends of the hair. That will instantly refresh bed head curls.

Styling Tips for Wavy Hair No1

Wavy haired gals are often frustrated with their locks, where as fine haired people often wish their hair had texture. Is this just a bad case of the grass being greener, or is there some pitfalls to styling wavy hair?

I think it's more the case of the grass being greener. Most professional models wearing straight, voluptuous styles often times have natural curl underneath. Styling wavy hair takes more work and extra styling products in order to soften the texture.

It seems many wavy haired gals blow dry their hair straight. Is this style going to stay mainstream or will natural waves ever come back in vogue?

As a matter of fact, natural wave is coming back in a big way, without the volume that was so popular in the eighties. Wavy hair is shown softer with the use of moisturizing styling products to keep the tresses healthy and shiny.

What are some natural styling tips for wavy hair?

  • Separate the hair into one or two inch sections. Gently twist the hair to form more ringlets.
  • Using a good leave in moisturizing treatment is always beneficial.
  • Towel dry hair with paper towels is another great tip to remove the excess moisture out of curly hair.
  • Air drying is always better than heat styling when it comes to natural curl.

Need to Tame Frizzy Hair?

If you’ve got natural curls and waves, then chances are you often get frizz. Curly, coarse, wavy, and thick hair always scream for an extra dose of TLC. They do this (and you can tell they’re in dire need of attention) by becoming frizzy. In other cases, frizz is genetically determined. In places where heat is a force to deal with, it’s a by-product of humidity, pollution, and sun exposure.
In an attempt to tame the frizz some people tend to go to extremes such as altering the texture of the hair through rebonding or perming. This, ladies, isn’t going to be effective. Neither will ironing it flat and stick straight. The key is to get to the root of the problem.

Let’s take a look at how frizz happens:

You get frizzy hair because of the lack of moisture in your strands. Your hair the cuticles swell up in an attempt to  trap moisture in the environment, and this causes it to become unmanageable and frizzy. This happens when hair is dry, parched, and damaged mostly because of too much chemical exposure, frequent exposure to heat, and (sometimes) your heritage.

So what do you do about it?
First, you need to have an arsenal of moisturizing products. This means stocking up on intense moisturizing conditioners, masks, and coating treatment. You’ll also need serum for that quick after-bath treatment.
Second, you’ll need a regimen. Do not shampoo everyday as it washes away your hair’s natural oils along with the dirt and grime that you want to do away with. Instead, wash it a couple of days apart. Use a sulfate-free shampoo. Use a moisture rich conditioner every time you shampoo your hair to replenish the moisture that’s lost in the process of washing. Deep conditioning and intense moisturizing ones are great investments. As much as possible, go for products that target dry, frizzy hair.
Your hair will also benefit from using coating treatment  at least few times a month. All it takes is 10 minutes, so I’m sure you’ll be able to find time for that. If you’re willing to go the extra mile, deep moisturizing masks done every week will help bring back life and luster to your crowning glory.
After rinsing your hair from conditioners, masks, and hot oils, you might have developed the habit of rubbing or wrapping it with a towel to get it dry. This you must avoid. Wet hair is at its most vulnerable state. Instead, use a paper towel, an old shirt, or a super absorbent microfiber towel to pat the hair dry and gently squeeze out the extra moisture.

Lastly, when styling your hair, try to avoid heat as much as possible. If you absolutely must use a flat iron invest in a ceramic one to minimize the damage. It uses infrared ionic heat to prevent damage. The same principle applies when you’re on the hunt for a blow-dryer. Ionic dryers use the same kind of heat and compresses the cuticles thereby locking off moisture that will make your hair go haywire. Before subjecting your locks to heat, always remember to apply a hairstyling protections.
Love your hair the way it is. Your hair may be a handful when they’re dry and damaged, but once you infuse life to them, they’re such a pretty sight for all ladies
